They have reinforced soles to help prolong the sock's lifespan and more importantly help cushion your feet against the continual pounding they receive when hiking uphill, climbing or multi-day backpacking.
Created using 72% Merino wool, 26% Nylon and 2% Elastane they wick away moisture quickly and easily - they dry swiftly too after washing - so you can be sure your feet will remain in tip top condition.
And to help hold the sock in place there is also an arch brace, and to ensure you remain comfortable there's a flat-knit toe seam.
